August 14, 2009. Direct INFO has finished next stage of the research in retail services of mobile communication market overview in Russian regions. Project is including entire census of all existing in separate cities trade units dealing with sales of mobile services contracts (local, federal, mobile models and stocks, etc) and not in main (shops, post offices, kiosks, stalls selling newspapers, other channels of distribution)

Second stage included selective audit based on legend interview scenario with the sellers. The goal of the scenario was identification of the SIM cards and cards of payment actual presence of all operators acting in the city, also the estimation of standards of actual presence/ absence of SIM cards and cards of payment, sellers recommendations (mystery shopping). 

Survey has shown the slight cutting of the trade units dealing with mobile telephones in certain segments  (local and federal saloons of the mobile networks), the reason of that is world crisis. However according to Direct INFO estimations this cutting was compensated of the trade units growth in other less expenses for operators segments  – first the growth of the trade units quantity in mobile modules and stalls. Crisis was the reason for the kiosks sales (divisions) of the sales and repair of the used telephones. The reason of that many consumers (including clients who subscribe to the services first time) have to buy modern or budget models of the phones strictly through the mentioned sales channel.
