Home Internet: Using of different providers for Internet access.

Company Direct INFO has finished 3rd wave of annual poll of home Internet users. During research it has been interrogated about 2500 users in all regions of Russian Federation, including more than 500 Moscow house users of global network. Results of the research presented below:

In the first quarter of 2010 total number of contracts of Moscow operators on granting of services of broadband access has made about 2,7 million subscribers. Within a year the user's base has grown up to 7 %. The real number of households using broadband access to the Internet slightly less and counts to 2,2 million.  The reason of such number explained by connection to several or more Internet providers. Interviews have showed that two and more connections to the various providers have about 21 % of the Moscow households.
