According to named research hold by Direct INFO every year since 2006, the overal Russian market volumes of express delivery was 33 billion dollars in 2010, these indexes is 17% higher than 2009. The market is completely recovered from Crisis and significantly exceeds before-crisis indexes.

Progressing Crisis 2009 influenced the market and coused the 10% slump in express delivery, urgent cargo transportation and courier services. 2010 indexes exceeded the 2008 before-crisis indexes to 10%. Over past year enterprices involed in express delivery business, urgent cargo transportation and express services have earned 32 billion roubles which are 17 % above indicators of 2009.

If we look to the structure of services sales volumes, we will see the share of sales in B2B sector exceeded over 80%.  The share of services for private persons in total amount of the market of express delivery, urgent cargo transportation and express services makes 20%, it’s 4% higher than the same indicator of 2009. The share of Moscow region, according to the results of last year is 65%. In comparison with previous years we see the tendency to Moscow share decreasing in total sales volumes which is connected with the higher rates of the regional markets.
