M2M market is one of the youngest and fastest growing segments of the ICT. According to "Direct INFO" in the past year the number of M2M devices in Russia connected to the mobile network operators has increased by 891 thousand reaching 2.4 million, or 1.2% of the total number of active mobile subscribers, and in 2012 may grow by 62.5% reaching 3.9 million units.
